Debbie Does Saskatoon

We have moved. We love Saskatoon. We live mere blocks from the heart of Broadway, and after living in Edmonton, the walk seems very short (it's just nice to be able to walk to something). We have friends here. We've seen Kathy-mom once, and will again this weekend.

I am a bit overwhelmed by a) the gorgessity of our house; b) unpacking and knowing ( Read more... )

Mon dieu.

Bugs come with all houses. We alternate between an ant and an earwig infestation every spring. It's disgusting. You reach for the cutting board, and out it comes with an earwig clinging to it. I hate earwigs, with their pinchy pinchers and their quickness. I want to punch them all in their wee faces. Like mosquitos, they ruin every party.

And I said it once, I'll say it again. Give yourself some time, dearest Pants. You've had a ver ver busy year--the least of which was my leaving you (HA!)--and no one will blame you for taking time off.

But, I'm still waiting for an copy of your Harlequin.

Ewww, I forgot about damp-times bugs. Never mind - I cannot complain. Dry-times living has so fewer problems (unless you get so dry that you're dealing with scorpion scenarios, but they have yet to come this far north).

Your leaving was a heartbreak I could not contend with. I will now only return to Edmonton to shop (sadly, of course).

Thanks Alisa!!

You get so much amazingly creative work done. How do you do it? Do you set yourself schedules, or goals or what?

Looking forward to actually hanging out with you this summer!

(ps. umm...maybe I'll email you this instead)

It was your birthday? I missed your birthday? HAPPY BIRTHDAY!

Your new house sounds super-cool, minus the plumbing and insect issues :) Congrats!
