Yep, I guess I was out of it for a bit.

This town won't let me go that easy though.

Well , for what it's worth, Mayfield doesn't seem to care to let many of us go. It's good to see you as yourself again, though.

Did I miss anything, I think I've been gone a few weeks.

Not that any of us really know when we are, but it's an understandable sentiment.

...That depends on how long it's been. I was droned a while myself, just after when the Milkman became Police Chief, but a few day ago the town decided to give us, erm, one last summer fling, I suppose you'd say.

Do you really think it as that easy? As far as I can tell, teenagers were trapped in the bowling alley. Except they only had one person in there with them, again opposite sex. Children were trapped in a carnival.

Who did you get stuck with?

Merlin and I were paired together, nothing came of it, of course. We both decided loyalty to our significant others was more important. After an allotted time the town did allow us to leave, however.

That's good. On Valentine's day they brainwashed us too, I guess it's good they skipped that this time.

[Her expression darkened slightly as she remembered that day. Biting her lip, she spoke.] It would be more fortunate if they let us be entirely, but if they did something like that we wouldn't even be here.

Yeah, I thought I had a good idea when the Milk was being forced on us but I think I overestimated what I can do there.

Next time I'll try to be more cautious and accomplish something.
