The Store Report
Finally took a break from the store for a bit. I'd be in bed now but I'm behind on my housework now so I am waiting for my Laundry to get done and doing some dishes. Seemed like a good time to post!
The guy I was dealing with for furniture was a moron. As a direct result I have no idea when my showcases and wall fixtures will be arriving. Thus far I haven't been billed and I am starting to get worried about that. Our big order from our distributor came in this week though. That was on Wednesday. It took us until Thursday to check it all in and make sure nothing was missing. Then another 2 days to price tag all of it. 1500 POUNDS of board games. We have them out, and our overstock shelves are set up (and filled).
This week everything seems to be scheduled to happen all at once. I'm very happy we are fairly on top of things. Tomorrow I have a bit I can do (and should do) but then nearly everything we need to do starts up again during business hours monday.
With our furniture missing the Vestal fire inspector is on vacation so his underlings seem very overzealous to prove they can do it, and we might have trouble simply because of that to open on our scheduled Thursday 7/24 at midnight for a big midnight magic tournament, followed by our first normal day of business on Friday 7/25. It should be an even crazier week making sure everything gets done.
