that would be the repeal of the Glass-Steagall Act. A move against which I have been inveighing loudly and angrily for the last year and a half...since it was designed in the aftermath of the Big Depression expressly to prevent the kind of shit we have going on right now.

Short-sighted fuckers, our congresspeople. Would be better if they'd actually STUDIED their history rather than using that time to develop schmoozing skills.
