Music of 2008
I've been meaning to make a music recommendation and cast it out into the nethersphere for a while now. This would be a list of albums I have discovered this year but not that necessarily came out this year:
1) Ratatat - LP3: An electronic band promoted by the Digg man himself, Kevin Rose. I happen to agree with him here.
2) MGMT - Oracular Spectacular: Trippy future pop with infectious melodies
3) Muse - Black Holes and Revelations: Dramatic British melodic Rock with Radiohead-sounding vocals
4) Justice - Cross: Daft Punk-like electronic jam. If you haven't heard this yet you either hate techno or live under a rock.
5) Daft Punk - Alive 2007: Amazing live album by these electronic pioneers
6) Pendulum - In Silico: Drum and Bass, we will be seeing these guys again when we come to Ultra in March
