Avenue Q trip
Last night I had a nice little trip to the theatre with some folks from the Confuzzled crew, so we headed to the Hippodrome in Birmingham to watch Avenue Q.
Now I've only ever heard the soundtrack to the show, mostly during times when we were rehearsing or painting for our own puppet show, but seeing it live was awesome - and hearing the audience reaction to familiar songs such as 'The Internet Is For Porn' was something else, and despite the warmth of the theatre it was a really good night.
We then got the chance, via the Stage Door entrance, to meet some of the cast as they came out from the theatre, I got a couple of autographs from some of the actors, including a 'Horny Hugs' greeting from the guy who played Trekkie Monster :D Lilsi had brought along her puppet from the Cavalcade show at Confuzzled this year and a lot of people, including the Avenue Q actors, were impressed with it, we headed back to Colin's still singing along and talking puppetry ^^
