klfcpsaldsa;kld;'sa EXACTLY MY THOUGHTS. OMG, just OMG. I cried so much during the finale, but especially when Claire had Aaron and Charlie remembered her ;____; And when Sawyer and Juliet found each other. And Shannon and Sayid. AND JIN AND SUN OMG. Oh and Kate and Jack. Oooh so glad it became Jate ;_;
And I'm totally with you on the things that aren't fully explained. I think Jack did die. Like Christian said 'they all died, before you or long after you' (something like that). I think Hurley, Ben and Desmond died on the island, protecting it. I think Kate and co died somewhere else, but in the alternate universe they're all alive because that's the world they built together. At first I was like - 'whoa, cliché. Someone needed a happy ending'. But well - at one point it kind of isn't. As you said, it kind if is a purgatory (I needed the dictionary for that xD). And yes, I LOVED that Jack laid down at the spot where he woke up in the beginning of the series. That was a nice touch~ And it should've been Hurley, or course it needed to be him.
One thought: Where the fuck are Michael, Walt (okay, so maybe he's grown up a little too much) and Ecko? O_o Ana Lucia was there, Libby was there, but Ecko wasn't ):
I'm SO gonna miss it. I think I need to dust off my DVD-boxes and watch it from the start again :D
I read somehwere that Michael and Walt already 'moved on'. It probably had something to do with the fact dat Malcolm Kelley, who played Walt, grew up too fast or something. I don't really get it yet.
I missed Eko as well, but I have no idea why he wasn't there. It's a shame, because I really liked his character :(
I already started rewatching season one, haha :P I just watched Solitary again.
Could be yeah. Or maybe because they didn't bond as much with the others. I mean - Ana Lucia wasn't there at the church. Maybe Eko and Micheal weren't there, because of the same reason? (Or I'm looking way too much into this and it's just because the actors didn't want to come back xD).
Season one *___* Yeah, I think I'm gonna start watching tonight as well. In S1 everything was still pretty innoncent lol (as innocent LOST can be XD).
Eko wasn't there because the actor wanted too much money. Michael wasn't there because he's stuck on the Island, he's stuck there because of what he did to Libby and Ana Lucia. I don't know about Walt, but maybe he moved on with other people in his life, since he was just a little boy when he was on the Island and has no real other connections to anyone in the church.
