(no subject)
This weekend I went to Main Strauss. The group was separated most of the night, but the three of us that stayed together had a great time. I'd invited a guy friend (well actually I invited several people, but most of them in a band that happened to have a gig that night). We flirted and had fun. I do kind of like him, it would be nice to get to know him better. Too bad I think he's really quiet and that's no fun; maybe he gets chattier with time.
But basically I got to drink and was getting attention from someone, lets face it- attention from someone cute is always an ego boost.
Sunday was "family fun". My mom's side celebrates easter a week early so most or all of the family can attend (ie: my cousin and her child). I guess the family is back on the kick of my wedding/starting a family. And Scott, I still say I won. The "getting married" comment only came up once. The best part is I didn't have to answer since I just started laughing and said "I won." Which of course Scott refused to acknowled so I was arguing the case in front of everyone. I do hope they got the point. Or at Thanksgiving I'll just tell them all I'm pregnant and see who has a fit.
And with as crappy my morning started out with my allergies acting up, I had a great surprize waiting for me at work. The chinese restuaruant next door has been re-purchased by owners we met when we first moved here. The cook is the guy that my dad prefers. So he's very happy and I think we'll be getting food in the next few days, after they've had time to re-season the cookware and get organized.
