Potential employment SQUEE!
I've been a medical secretary for 12 years, and a web designer for 5, and I thought I might try combining the two, ie doing medical websites. As part of market reserach I wrote to a site over here that has reference info for doctors to ask if they had a lot of call for that kind of thing. Today I get back -
"Hi,
I too have been a Practice Manager for 17yrs and a web designer for 8yrs and I already do about 20 medical websites and a few non-medical. It is nice to finally meet somebody who does the same thing! I cannot keep up with the amount of work with maintaining all the sites so can I pass on any future webwork to you!? I will keep your email for future contact."
K-ching! Just like that, doesn't know me from Eve, but 'here, please do!'. Yowza - I may have underestimated the demand. This could be good :D
I'll write back and suggest we meet up or at least talk on the phone ;}
