Whoo hoo! Day off! So, I don't have the house to myself like I usually would on a wednesday, but I'll take it!
Anyway. A word of warning. Vicki and I went to go and see the live action Blood: The Last Vampire movie last night. I wasn't expecting a visual masterpiece or anything, and yet I was still surprised at how AWFUL it was. HOLY CRAP. Longest fight scenes in history, plus really, really weak story line and bad acting. Usually I love this sort of crap but... It was so bad it even went past the "it's so bad it's good" line.
If you really feel like watching it, wait til you can rent it, or alternatively, be a dirty pirate. But I don't think it's even worth the effort of downloading.
It was good in a way, because we got to see a couple of awesome trailers. Public Enemies with Johnny Depp looks like it could be pretty cool! We were hoping for an Inglorious Basterds trailer, but alas, I think it's a bit soon, yet.
So, yes, give it a miss. Go see Transformers 2 instead, or something.
Also, um, the Twilight reading continues. Right now, I'm just wishing that Edward and Jacob would just have a scrap already. It seems like it's leaning towards the "Lets all be friends!" route, for now, but I'm still holding out for a scrap. It'd be epic.
Speaking of Twilight, for the last... god knows how long, I've been laughing my arse off over the video under the cut. Of course, anything poking fun at Twilight is fine by me, but this just cracks me up XD
