Hola!
My speech is over! And I was so glad to have breakfast this morning. I woke up late. God, why can't I just fucking get up early enough to myself look presentable? I finally woke up at 6:55 and I had to pick up my carpool babe at 7:15ish--damn, that leaves no time for the WEAVE. But hey, who do I have to impress? The dorky film kids in my history of film class? Or 1/2 the football team in my psychology of women class? However, there is one semi-ok male in my Stats class, but he looks old guys, like 25+...yikes. Maybe it will be a fun crush or something.
Anyway, I have a funny, yet not funny story. So my friend Matt was saying on Sunday how he would never let a girl drive his car again. He babbled on how 2 of his girlfriends have crashed his car, yada, yada. So I called him today after my comm class to see if he was free since I had an hour to do nothing. He says, "I crashed me car." I wanted to laugh so hard, but of course I asked right away if he was okay. He is, and so is the girl he hit. So then I just laughed in his face and he says, "well, a girl was involved!"..What a crazy kid. Very fun though. I generously gave him a ride home since he is car-less.
What else happened today? How was your day? The LJ has died. Can we please bring it back to life?
Ohhh, I talked to John today. That was exciting. I felt so bad. When I called one of the first thing he said was, "I was wondering when you were going to call back, I was just thinking about it." Wow, I'm such a bitch. But honestly, the time difference is a big problem. Every time I think about it, it's 9 or later here..that means it's 12 or later there! So we chatted for a good 15 minutes. It was nice catching up, but then just depressing that we are going to have a phone/mail/e-mail relationship until January, and then he leaves again. Life goes on I guess.
