Moving Day
Well, it is that time of year again. I think that this was one of the most chaotic but smoothest moves that my friends and I have done. The hardest part was getting people down, but the delay allowed me extra time to prepare. Beyond that, the move was smooth. We managed to get everything moved in by about 10:30 or so. My thanks goes out to my moving crew for making the move go a whole lot easier. There is just the dishes and food left in the old place which my room mate is going to take care of while I am at work. The biggest trick was trying to move all my stuff into my room from my room mates room so she could have a place to sleep. It helped that my stuff did not start in my room so I had room to set stuff up before bringing all the boxes in. Managed to get everything moved in by about 1AM and talked with my room mate until 2 before heading to bed.
Today, my room mate is going to take care of the floors, and I just clean the walls when I get home before turning in the keys. Then the fun begins of unpacking things. This place is at least twice as nice as the old place with a lot of perks such as more space for less rent and water is included.
