Morn!
Morn, has been my userpic on AIM for about the last year and a half, I do not know why the thought of getting him on LJ never occurred to me. It's funny I didn't watch DS9 until I graduated from college and my old roommate who is also a Trekkie said that DS9 turned out to be a pretty good show, and I should give it another chance. I did not like it when it first aired but thanks to DVD and Blockbuster online I went ahead and started watching so many years after the show had stopped airing.
I have to say he was right and DS9 is/was a good show. After watching it for about a month I started noticing that Big funny looking alien, and I'm like who's that? That guy looks funny? (all in a good way) and sure enough I found that there is a community of fans like me who really like morn.
An interesting fact you may or may not know about Morn, he got his name because it is Norm, spelled backward. At the time of the show Cheers was real popular and since Morn was always in the bar, Norm backwards was an appropriate name for him but unlike the sitcom character Morn never talked as much.
