Weekend Endeavors
The weekend was quite entertaining to say the least. I don't recall doing anything adventurous, but I did go to a BBQ at a co-worker's on Sunday. You see, it was my cat Schroeder's 1st birthday, so we had to celebrate! Oh, and the co-worker had just moved into the house and wanted to show it off... Anyways, her children...Hmm... decided it would be a great idea to set their dog Lulu on Schroeder. The youngest boy yelling, "Lulu's going to kill him!" Don't you just love kids? Anyways, Schroeder flipped out on the dog and I just got him up in my lap before he could any real damage. Even if the dog was just smelling around, I know all too well that the cat goes straight for the eyes. Schroeder's demeanor changed from the relaxed playful kitty of the afternoon, to continuous low growls only I could hear, or feel rather. Luckily when I got home, Schroeder passed out in the middle of the floor due to missing his regular daytime nap. He's so cute and fluffy!!
Apart from all the adventuring and such, I've been working dutifully on a new (old) fanfic. I'm quite proud of it, but want to make sure I finish it in it's entirety before I post it. I have a bad habit of not completing things, as I did start this nearly a year ago. Now that I've stated this, I figure there will be more urgency in the posting of said fanfic, so look forward to it! I really like it!
