Music makes the people come together!
So it is getting around that time when little kids are making out their Christmas lists for Santy Claus. Well since I'm a little old for that and I have a few concerts looming in the future (Jason Mraz this coming Tuesday, Sigur Ros on 2/25, and Coldplay on 2/26) I will make out my list of concerts I want to see:
-Pearl Jam!!! When will I ever get to see them. When they came in 2003 I couldn't go because of a work conflict, and I have been anxiously awaiting their return ever since. EDDIE GET YOUR BUTT DOWN HERE!
-Dave Matthews Band at Red Rocks...that is my dream concert!
-Dave Matthews Band Texas Three Step - That's three Texas concerts in one week (Selma, Dallas, Woodlands) Janice, Jeannie and I are planning on doing that this summer.
-Ben Harper - How frickin amazing is this guy? TOO AMAZING! Now if only I could be in his presence.
-Radiohead - I have seen them once before, but it has been a few years and that show was so awesome I want more!
-U2 - So I got really unlucky getting tickets for their How to Dismantle an Atomic Bomb tour, but I am not deterred, I will see them eventually!
-Smashing Pumpkins - They said they were getting back together, if they tour I soooo want to be there!
-Tori Amos - She puts so much energy into playing that piano that you can't help but yearn to see her in person.
-Ani Difranco - A little chick who plays strong and from her heart, don't need any more reason than that.
-Next year's Bonnaroo - The line up is always so incredible there...I mean look at this year's (DMB, Jack Johnson, Modest Mouse, O.A.R., Trey Anastasio, Widespread Panic, and more...)
There are many more, but I will stop there or I will go on and on and on...
