A good night
Tonight I went to Samir's place for a game of D20. It turned into two games after I screwed up and lost the first one quickly.
Samir's first team was heavy on the ranged, and I forgot my +4AC from deflect arrows; I also foolishly missed an atack of oportunity early in the game. Then I alowed myself to be in a position to have half my forces trampled by his Treant. Combining this with my fire-breathing dragon being on the oposite flank from his fire vunerable Treant I was screwed and forfited quickly.
The second game went much better for my troops. After loosing 2 men early in the game I scored a few key criticals and defeated a key enemy. Then after loosing just 1 more man I rallied and defeated Samir's Army of Darkness with 3 men left standing.
Although I am told it wasn't Samir's first loss, I still feal like I have really acomplished a great feat by beating him. He wants to play a third game to see who wins best of three, and I say bring it on.
