Pie and politics ;-)

There's definitely advantages to being the baker around here. The best one is that I get to eat the last piece of cake or pie, the last cookie, etc. Right now I'm enjoying the last piece of strawberry pie. Yum. Speaking of pies, I had a pie crust left over, so I think I'm going to make a lemon meringue pie tomorrow. I haven't made anything lemon in ages.

Ann Coulter was on the Sean Hannity show today, and in top-notch form. I love her so much, hehe. At first she and Sean were talking about the hurricanes and Ann was telling him about the firefighters who went to New Orleans to help out after Katrina but were instead sent to Atlanta for eight hours of diversity and sexual harassment training. She was talking about how ridiculous that was and then added in her dry way, "Like any woman would NOT want to be sexually harassed by a firefighter." LOL!! She's like the only person who could ever get away with saying something like that! *still laughing*

They talked about the Supreme Court next. Ann said that Bush has already destroyed her dream of an all black Supreme Court, consisting of all Clarence Thomases. Hehe, wouldn't the liberals love that. Like she was saying, liberals are always screaming about racism against blacks, but they turn right around and act like racists themselves. They refuse to put black people in top positions, and they can't stand the fact that so many prominent black politicians today are right-wing conservatives (I find the irony in that highly satisfying). In short, they only use blacks for political pawns, while the conservatives are the non-racist ones. I dearly hope Bush puts a black conservative judge on the bench to replace O'Connor--it would be so much fun to watch the liberals go into hysteria while trying not to reveal their racism.
