Every love is different.
Some are painful,
some slow and subtle,
some aren't even acknowledged.
I find that my life is easier
when I accept each love for what it is,
not try to make them all the same
or even all official,
but just let them exist in their own states.
It's difficult to accept the painful ones;
you want to get something out of it
to make the pain worthwhile
and struggle with it
and take it out on the person whose love is so painful
but ultimately, you might not be compensated.
You might just have to be hurt and get nothing for it.
But that doesn't mean it isn't worthwhile,
because you also learn something, gain memories, each of which add to your experience on Earth.
Does that make sense?
Sometimes you just have to let something be taken from you.
