My iPod appears to have run off with gypsies. It's nowhere to be found. The fact that it did this right before I had to make a four hour drive by myself was a particular insult.
I have to decide when I give up hope for it's return and buy a new one. For a brief moment this all seemed like a good thing as I discovered the new
iPod Touch - basically an iPhone without the phone. It's new, it's fancy, it's shiny, all the things I look for in a gadget. One very small problem is the 16GB capacity. I mean really?!? I have 11GB in my iTunes library right now and that's not all my music and no movies. I believe my full library is closer to 30GB of just music (and that's still tiny compared to Richard's).
What's the point of a fancy video enabled iPod with no space? I will probably stick to the classic if I need a replacement, much as it hurts me to not have the latest and greatest.
The Nano is being redesigned as well. It's "chubbier" but now has video as well.
Damn it, I love touch screens. Stupid 16GB.
ETA:
Oh yeah, 16GB iPod Touch = $399
160GB iPod Classic = $349
