I knew Texas is a conservative state, but I surely hope the parent's reaction and the school board's decision are not representative of the values of the general Texas population.
If you really have a problem with Elementary kids seeing nude sculptures at museums, go tell your legislators that muesums should require ID checks to block kids under 18. Don't go picking on the art teacher for taking your kids on a field trip to a muesum after YOU have signed the permission slip.
