... I hope my French isn't that bad. Someone tell me if it's wrong, so I can bang my head against the table in shame? (It's only been what, two years? afterall. ><;;;)
Anyways. New World. L'Arc~en~Ciel's new single. (Warning, link resizes your window. Yes, I actually care about those things. Yes I have OCD. Moving on...)
As, um, generic-rock sounding as it may be... it's one of those songs that reminds me why I love their music so much. I don't know... not as much as "Hitomi no Jyuunin (Living In Your Eyes)", because that was fucking GORGEOUS. It's just... nice. Fun. With that touch of originality that is so totally Laruku.
Am I making any sense? Eh... probably not. Anyways... I saw the music video, and two things came to mind. 1) Good LORD this is better than the "Killing Me" PV! and 2) Linkin Park's "In The End". The videos are actually quite similar, from the tall desolate tower in the middle of nowhere, to the growing green foliage at the end, to the strange flying animals (Linkin Park: whales; Laruku: fish) that should not be flying at all.
I'm not bothered by this, really, nor do I think that Laruku is stealing, or being unoriginal. It just made me go, "hmm... interesting."
Oh, and, Hyde looks like the sexy mofo he always is, in it. V. nice. =)
HERE is the vid for those of you who may have not seen it yet. I have the "In The End" vid somewhere on my computer... somewhere being the key word. If I find it, I'll u/l that too.
