A Much-Needed Update
Hello, it's been a while, hasn't it?
My holidays were wonderful. I got to hang out with Lauren before Christmas at Gameworks. Since we're 21, we had so many machines to ourselves. (and Gabe, too. He's an ok guy.) I spent Christmas with my family. I got a new SLR with the standard and telephoto lenses and 1G for storage. I got the Strawberry Icing LongLocks Hairsticks I wanted SO BADLY. I also got clothes, a new mouse for my laptop (since I've been playing FPS lately) and Pete also bought me a necklace. It's gorgeous!
New Year's was good, too. Me, Pete, Darek, and his girlfriend (nicknamed Sunshine) ate at Buffalo Wild Wings. We played some Monopoly and accidently missed the countdown to New Year's Day. Woops~!
Stuff's been good. I put in some hours at Express and got a .75 raise. Pete and I are closing in on 7 months together. Lauren's still classy and I'll be in Champaign in a week.
I hope this next semester goes good. It isn't going to be as hard as last semester, thank goodness. I hope I can go out a bit more and be with my friends. Even though I don't play ITG/DDR as much as I used to, I'll be more than happy to hang out with everyone. I guess I'll be a groupie like Dave Gui. Except I'm not a FOB. Haha!
I'm watching Fresh Prince right now. I love this show. Pete got his wisdom teeth out two days ago, so I'm just going to go to sleep and hope that he feels a bit better tomorrow. He didn't look so good today. :( I brought him some applesauce and baby food. I also made him a little homeade card and printed out photos for him. It was great to slow down and take care of him. He deserves it.
The weather was great today. If it's like this tomorrow, I'm going to go rollerblading around Minooka. Is tomorrow Sunday? I don't have my days straight.
