Papa's gone from this place...

I haven't seen Shoko, either... Although in her case, um, she probably would have just died sooner or - sooner, so it's for the best....I guess it's for the best with Papa, too ( Read more... )

Yeah... It was kinda complicated. Papa was here, but he was here as a five year old, you know? A little weird...

Now that he's gone, I'm suddenly wishing I had talked to him more.

As for Shoko, yeah, she was a poor choice for this place.

Only five? I can't believe the scientists would even bring in children that young. Was he all right?

I don't think I'd want my dad here, no matter what age he was.

If Papa was here as an adult, it would be different. He's kinda a - not the coolest guy in the world, not even close... but he's the strongest out of everyone. Even as a kid, he was... I guess I didn't worry about him much at all.

I don't know. Maybe if I had - brothers or sisters, or my parents here of the right age, you know? Maybe then it'd be different and I'd feel weirder... Is it nice, having your sister here?

I mean, this place can be really stupid like that, but I'm sure it's gotta get less crazy sooner or later, right? Maybe you could teach her self defense or something, too? You can be normal and still learn that. And then you could worry a little less, right?

Yeah. I told her she should take lessons at the high school. I've never been taught formally, so I wouldn't be very good at teaching someone else.
