dreamy things
I'm in a very calm mood right now. When I have nothing to do on a weeknight I usually end up playing my ukulele or writing, both of which put me in a good mood. I had a headache though, so I was trolling etsy instead. Now I'm in the mood to create. I have so many little charms and treasures that I've collected at bead expos with my sister, and I haven't done anything with them yet. I obviously need to go over to Colleen's for a crafting night and make some jewelry. :D
Speaking of jewelry and etsy, I said I was going to reward myself when I got accepted to grad school with one of the many things I have my eye on on etsy (I want everything omg), and I've narrowed it down to a few, and I need your opinions.
A Chair For Alice. I am so in love with this little necklace, it's simple and whimsical and everything that I love.
The Frog Prince. There's just something about this that I really really love. It's one of those things that speaks to me somehow. I am leaning towards this one a bit.
Silver Cloud Bracelet. This is just so dreamy and cute! I don't have many bracelets, either. However, it's a bit more expensive. But it also comes in a smaller size which I wouldn't mind because my wrists are so tiny.
Which of those do you like the best? I can't deciiiide. I'm friends with the girl who made the first two on blogspot, and she sent me a freebie locket for voting for her in an etsy contest, so I kinda want to buy from her. But I haven't decided yet. XD
She also does great photography. This is my current desktop, because it's so soft and soothing. I want to get some really nice, pretty prints to frame and hang up in my room. Becky, what's the link to your photo deviantart, if it still exists? I tried to find you but couldn't. :( I would love to steal something of yours and hang it uppp. :D
ETA: Not done searching etsy yet, and now I have more choices! :(( I want everythingggg. I am IN LOVE with this photography series. Beautiful! And she's doing a buy-one-get-one sale at the moment, so I could get two prints! I especially love THIS ONE. I am very much liking this idea of getting two prints instead of one necklace/bracelet for the same price. Especially since I'm at craft shows alllll the time with Colleen and know many many crafty people who always give me "friends and family deals" (no matter how much I protest). And I will have these prints forever, I can hang them in my future apartment! I'll have to get frames and mats for them, but I troll the Michaels ads every week anyway. :P
