GUESS WHO JUST GOT TICKETS TO SEE FLORENCE AND THE MACHINE???
IF YOU GUESSED ME, YOU ARE CORRECT. :DDDDD WORD CANNOT EXPRESS HOW FREAKING EXCITED I AM RIGHT NOW, AHHHHHHH.
Tickets were fairly expensive, more so than I would normally pay for a concert. But the venue it's at is also an outdoor amphitheater, yet they aren't selling lawn seats like they usually do for concerts. I've been going there my whole life and have never once been inside for a show, but I HAD to get tickets. Or I would have exploded from the knowledge that Florence was in my area and I WASN'T going to the show.
There are very few bands left on my MUST-SEE list, because I've been lucky to go to some amazing shows in the last few years. Florence and the Machine is one of them. So I do not at all regret shelling out the money to see her. I would have driven somewhere to see her if she wasn't stopping nearby, but now I don't have to!
The furthest I've ever driven for a show was to Boston, which is about 2 hours. I wanted to go up to Toronto to see Mumford and Sons last year, but it's a REALLY long drive and we would've had to sleep overnight and we just didn't have the money for tickets AND gas AND a hotel AND food for 2 days. /sadface
So. Yes. Florence and the Machine. In September. At SPAC. AND I AM GOING.
*SCREAMING AND FLAILING AND OMGGGGG*
COME, DANCE WITH ME.
