some tv talk
I'm gonna keep bugging you about asking me questions, because I'm gonna do the video tomorrow and I want more questions. XDD Go, shoo, ask! :P
I've been meaning to talk about some shows, so let's do this thing.
I started watching Sons of Anarchy with the boy last week. We are up to the season 2 finale. CAN'T STOP WATCHING. I love show marathons, and we needed something new so I'm glad we tried this one. Is anyone else watching it? I want to catch up all the way so I can watch it live. Good thing it's on Netflix. The soundtrack is really great too. Oh and Titus Welliver is in season 2! He has an Irish accent! MiB LET ME LOVE YOU. <333 So, yes, I love this show.
I thought that the premiere was off to kind of a slow start, so I was glad that things have picked up a little in the second episode. I keep trying to watch this show with fresh eyes, and not compare it to the plot of the UK one, but it's hard. I just remember season 2 of BHUK being so great right off the bat. My favorite thing was Annie learning how to close the doors to keep them from dragging her through. I don't really know if they're going the same angle with Sally and the weird shadow thing (I shall call it a Dementor), but I like it so far. I just want things to pick up a little in general.
I feel SO BAD for Nora, more than I did for Nina. Her breakdown at the party was just so real and it hurt. Does she know for sure she lost the baby? When did that happen? I don't like it. :((( Poor Josh (though, for the record, nothing was more heartbreaking than George falling to his knees and clinging to Nina's stomach and crying when she told him he scratched her). I don't know, I just miss the UK cast, I guess. Trying to stay optimistic though.
I only watched the first episode, but I did DVR the second one. I wasn't super hooked right away, so I'm curious what you guys think if you've seen both eps. Does it get...better? XDD I like the premise (I never say no to fae), but I felt like it was so...bad. XDD Maybe I have been too spoiled by Sherlock, lol. Maybe I will watch a few more episodes before I decide to call it quits. There was some great homoerotic subtext, so I am intrigued by that, but...I'm so torn. XDD
That's all I got for now. Maybe I'll start doing Thursday night reaction posts again, because I love those shows the best. <33
I had to close at work tonight, and my sister came in to shop (and get my discount, lol) and she brought me coffee. It was smart to drink coffee at 9 pm. Now I am wide awake, so I might be back to spam you guys again. XDD
