John Legend- Slow Dance
This song just has such a slow and easy, romantic feel to it. Not to mention the fact that John Legend's voice DOES THINGS to me. Wonderful warm fuzzy things. <333 It may not be the "sexiest" song, but it's the most romantic one I've heard from a modern artist. I love that the song is just saying "you know what, let's turn the tv off and not worry about the rest of the world and our problems, let's just dance." <333

I don't know what it is about this song, but it is my happy place. It just has that feeling of being a part of something bigger, being in sync with nature and the world, and of course it's an odd little love song, too. Lines like this just get to me: the universe is shaped exactly like the earth if you go straight long enough you'll end up where you were. *happy sigh*

Adele- Someone Like You
OH GOD, MY HEART. It breaks at her voice in this song. It's so beautiful, and it perfectly captures that low point after a breakup that we've all felt before. I love that it's just Adele's amazing voice and a piano, it's so simple and perfect and powerful. All her songs are just so large-scale and epic, and this one is one of my favorites.

N*SYNC- Tearin' Up My Heart
I'm not gonna lie, I still get excited when I hear N*SYNC on the 90s radio station. XDD It was hard to choose between them and BSB, who I loved equally 10 years ago, lol. *hangs head in shame* But because it was safety_caesars that asked, and her personal ringtone on my phone is "Bye Bye Bye," I had to go with N*SYNC. Ah, the simplicity of a boyband hit. IT'S TEARIN' UP MY HEART WHEN I'M WITH YOU, BUT WHEN WE ARE APART I FEEL IT TOO. That's some deep shit. XDD
5. Favorite ship (TOO MANY TO CHOOSE, AGH)
Mumford and Sons- White Blank Page
In case you need to be told (but what other ship do I ever talk about these days??), this is my ultimate Dean/Castiel song. I mean, it's perfect. It's angsty and dark and beautiful, but tinged with hope. And seriously, the lyrics are so Cas. You desired my attention but denied my affections/so tell me now where was my fault/in loving you with my whole heart? *SOB* Every song by Mumford and Sons gives me ALL OF THE FEELINGS, but this one especially. It's just the perfect song. End of story. <333
Okay, I'm off to grade a few more papers before Parks&Rec comes on. Tomorrow is my last day of student teaching! I got a whole bunch of treats for my kiddos! I'm going to miss them. ;____;
