so long, summer
Hi everyone! I wanted to let you guys know that I made it through Irene just fine. We really only got thunderstorms and some crazy wind, but there has been some crazy flooding. We were very lucky. I hope my other East Coasters on the flist are doing okay. *squishes*
I've been super super busy with my upcoming student teaching, so I haven't been posting much lately. :(( Tomorrow I'll be meeting my students when they come in for a school tour and ice cream social, so I'm excited!
But I can't believe summer is already over. At least we've been having beautiful weather since Irene blew through, so it's nice to have these last few sunny days.
