FEELINGS
So today I wrote Beatles fic. I think there is a reason I had never used their songs for fic inspiration before. They fill me with ~EMOTIONS~ and now I am so sad and filled up over here. Oh Johnnnnnn. :(((
We talked about it a lot in class yesterday (it was a poetry day and we were talking about songs as poetry, got onto the Beatles naturally, and then just talked about John's death for the rest of class), and then me and the boy sat around and drank wine while listening to the Beatles. It was a good day, but a sad day.
Anywho, I wrote a ficlet. It's sideways!Miles/Naomi (who I am growing to love a lot, don't tell Richard!). It's inspired by and named after "Something," one of the simplest and most real love songs I've ever heard. Also, in this fangirl's honest opinion, a good Miles song. It has his kind of voice, I think. And in my head Miles is a music snob and hoarded Beatles vinyls in the 70s. ;) You can read it here if you want (sorry if this is spam because you already saw it):

Good night now. I need to stop having Feelings about the Beatles (will never happen, my One True Music Love for ever and ever the end).
P.S. Somewhat related, I just looked at my ficjournal while signed out of lj, and the age lock is really obnoxious. XD Too bad, I'm not getting shut down. No one without lj really reads my fics anyway. :P
