the photos of the victims are all over the buildings
toiletsized cells
all lined up, laying down on the floor
Of my entire trip, this place has left the biggest impression on me.
The sign on the first photo could just as well not be there. You just cannot walk around this place, reading the stories and looking at the photographs, without feeling like someone is digging in to rip out your guts.
* Bad news about my film:
The (Dutch!) photolab screwed up all of the black&white films I shot during my trip, while developping them. I had the lab scan the bad films and tried fixing them a bit in photoshop, but I seem not to be able to get them right.. :'(
