This seemed very real. I've known many girls like Lindsey... not bad people, but just crazy at times. The class assignment is very much like some of the things I've come across in school. As for the college aspect of this, my guess is that you are a college/university student, because it was very true to life. If you're not, then I'm VERY impressed.
If this were to be longer, I would have loved to see more of Brendon's background; I already felt bad for him, but I love me some angsty stories. LOL. I would have loved to see his feelings about his family, being Mormon, coming out, and all the emotional struggles associated when all those things come in contact. You touched on it a bit with Ryan's dialogue about how hard it must have been for him, but I like angst and I'd totally be in favor of some deep emotion from Brendon.
There were a few mistakes but I don't think I can quite fault you for them, because it looks like some things got jumbled and weird in the process of copy and paste. At least I know I've had problems like that before. Overall everything was very clean and well done. I loved this!
