You know how sometimes people on your friends list post about stuff going on in their life, and all of a sudden you think "Wait a minute? Since when were they working THERE? Since when were they dating HIM/HER? Since when???" And then you wonder how you could have missed all that seemingly pretty standard information, but somehow you feel too ashamed to ask for clarification because it seems like info you should already know? It happens to all of us sometimes.

Tessa. My mom was watching The Highlander and decided to name me after the dude's dead girlfriend or whatever. It's cool, I like my name. It's not hugely common but not totally weird and unheard of, either.
Age:
15. I don't like broadcasting my age. But there it is. Judge me on how I act, not the number.
Location:
Southwest Florida. It's terrible. It's hot, humid, and the beach sucks. I've never even seen snow because of this hell hole. I want to move to Chicago so badly. I'm going there this summer to scope things out and look at colleges.
Occupation:
Unemployed. I need a job to save up for the car I want. An old school VW Vanagon. Helllll yeah. ;D
Partner:
None. I kind of hate the guys at my school. They're just not my type.
Kids:
Ugh, I want kids even though I shouldn't. I kind of always have. But I know I am way young and that won't come around for a very long time. Right now, I have my cat Spencer who is my baby. :D
Brothers/Sisters:
I have a half-sister and a half-brother. They're six months apart: my sister is my mom's, my brother is my dad's. They're nine years younger than me, which causes a lot of friction. I babysit my sister a lot, and we don't get along. She cries so fucking much and drives me insane! I know she's been having a rough time, but just ughhhh. My brother and I get along a lot better. He's awesome. I've totally brainwashed him to act like me. xD
Pets:
I have a dog, a cat, a turtle, and eight fish. My dog, Alesha, I got when I saw four. She's a Yorkshire Terrier. She's cool, but we had to get rid of her and take her to live with my stepdad because she hates our new apartment (more on that later). I still get to see her, but I think she's sick. She's really skinny and has been under a lot of stress. :( My cat's name is Spencer Boyd Beckett (I know, I know, stfu) and she's my baby. I love her rediculously. My turtle, Timmy, is fucking eleven years old. Not your typical pet shop turtle. He hates me. My eight fish are named: Ryan, Jojo, Gabe, Bill, Guy Ripley, Pete, Patrick, and McLennon. Yeah, I know all of their names. xD

My mom and stepdad are now separated. It's... hard. They didn't split cleanly, though things are a lot better now. We moved to an apartment. My sister has been doing poorly in school. I know it's tough on her. I went through it already when I was four. But I kind of think things are better now. That's really about it.
Parents:

Derek: My dad. Super protective but he's okay. I wish he'd let me breathe sometimes. He plays guitar probably better than half of the dudes in bandom and wants to teach me bass. Which would be super cool.
Lucy: My stepmom. I hang out with her a lot. She's got an attitude, which I have seemed to have gotten. :) I'm kind of her best friend because all of her friends live far away now or turned into freaks. She basically gives me everything I want because I'm her favorite. When she's pissed, RUN. She's been in my life since I was three, so really she is my mom. I just have two. Too bad I couldn't pass as her kid if I tried!
Selena: My mom. She's... she's okay. We've been butting heads lately. It's probably because of the new apartment. I look a lot like her, which I kind of hate. We're Puerto Rican :/ She's pretty laid back though and would let me get my nose pierced if my dad would. So she's okay.
David: My stepdad (soon to be ex? No idea). He's pretty cool most of the time. We talk about old school music and he introduces me to cool bands. He takes me to concerts! Which is probably the coolest thing.
Who are some of your closest friends:
My best friend's name is Viv. We've been friends since we were in 2nd grade. We went through a time where we grew apart but we've been really tight again since 6th. So just yeah. She's always there for me and I'd do anything for her.
My other best friend is Kristal. I met her last year. She's really awesome and never fails to make me laugh. I know she has my back no matter what. :)
