Yup, that sounds like you...

Okay, so yesterday I had a meeting with...Bert. Well, that's what I'll call him anyways. Bert was an old teacher/friend and we lost contact for ahwile, but Scott called and said that I needed someone besides him and family and friends of family to talk to. So I did.

My father dropped me off infront of the building, and I walked in. It felt so weird to be there, so out of place. I walked to the office and sat down, he was in a meeting and would be out soon...I took to reading over my US History notes, something to occupy my mind for the time being. He came out of the conference room twenty minutes later. The same, yet so different at the same time. His hair had been cut, he was wearing a shirt and tie and he had a wedding band on his finger.

"So, the rumors are true...You got married, you cut your ponytail and you're an assistant principal" I said as we walked into his office.

"Yeah. I had to make some changes."

Our conversation continued for an hour, over anything, over everything. It was time to leave, he still had work to do and I had to go home and read the new book he gave me. "Writing with Style: Conversations on the art of Writing". I don't know what it is about that meeting, but for some reason everything makes sense and I'm relaxed...I'm better then I have been in months.

"It's a Friday night and you are smiling...." Scott said later on that night.

With that, I took my cup of tea and went to my room....

"As in romancing, so in writing: you're most effective when your heart is in it..."
