So, last christmas my family decided not to buy anything for eachother because we already have everything we need.
Of course i wanted an ipod, a new digicam and yes the list goes on, but i can do without.
Anyways, instead the money that we would be using for buying gifts we were going to donate to a charity.
My mom suggested this charity that originates from where she grew up a village in vietnam (south asia) .
So in the village theres this place where they take care of kids who have disabilities. Some blind, some deaf, some both, some paralyzed.My brother and i had $200, which doesn't seem like a lot, but recently the cdn. dollar has been increasing, so then the exchange rate into vietnamese currency was crazy, it came to like.. $200cdn -> $2560 00.
If you go to vietnam with $20 bucks in your pocket,your rich.
We sent the money off, and a few days later received some mail.
our money bought all the food in the truck, food for a month.
christmas gifts, i believe?

It was the most amazing christmas I've ever ever ever had.
Not to be lame, but I got to experience the true meaning of christmas.
I love my family.
I love my life.
This weekend was amazing.
