(no subject)
I just realised today how incredibley fortunate I am. I have like... a sensible life right now. Not normal or perfect, because they do not exist. But yeah, after talking to Adriana, an old home girl from PHS, I realised how much my life has changed since then. It's hardcore.
Well, I don't remember much of the other post that got lost in the lj black hole, but prom was fun. My dress was really cute and so was my date. I met a guy (scott)who is on Lady Michaela's site's directory. Always nice to meet Christian goths. (Oh, Elan... I saw the DiPaulas girls. And Scott is dating Abigail Foust, do you remember her from trinity? It was so random... let me tell you.)
I am almost finished with my sweater. !!! I can promise you loads of pictures the second it is completly finished. Not like any of you care, but I have to show off my work to someone.
Aaron came over today, that was a very nice surprise. I came home from the gym and got to cuddle... poor aaron, lucky katie. lol.
I started volunteering at the House of Ruth's day care. Oh my goodness... the kids were so precious... wow. I wanted to take them all home. Cute convo of the day:
Kid: Are you white?
Me: Yep.
Kid: (looks down at his arm) I'm not.
Me: That's okay.
Kid: (shows me his palms) I have white on my hands. Do you have black on your hands?
Yeah... they were so cute. I can't wait to go back Thursday.
Babysitting tonight was pretty decent. I made some money, there are two kids in bed... same old, same old.
Otep is coming back into town, June 19th. They are a good show, y'all know you want to go. :)
