This reminds me of three things when I listen to it.
1) The scene in The Amber Spyglass when God, who is merely the oldest angel, falls out of his palanquin, smiles beatifically, and dissipates into dust.
2) Pictures of the universe, particularly those series that are similar to the Powers of Ten movie, wherein the top level shows the dispersion of galactic clusters, the pattern of which is quite similar to that formed by waves on the ocean.
3) Hinduism generally, but more specifically the statement to the effect of: "if a drop of water becomes dirty, the whole ocean does not become dirty."
