Visibility
Back near the beginning of Fall semester I was asked by one of my professors, the one I worked for over the summer, if I would like to have my picture taken to possibly be in the new department brochure. Well, the hairdresser in me was all over it, and I showed up in a flattering black top with my makeup and hair done for a quick photo shoot. Just this week I ran into the department chair, who wanted to show me the new brochure...with my face in it. Then he went into a side room and brought out a rolled-up poster that is probably 6 feet high and 3 feet wide, and I'm on that too. He said he was going to "put it somewhere" where people would see it, and wanted me to know my mug would be very visible. I said it was fine as long as it wasn't on the side of the building :-) As far as I can tell, it is only on the paper brochure, not the university website.
