For those Job seekers out there
My friend Curtis from Shaw Cable 10 just sent me an email about a new job posting that I think some people might be interested in:
"This is just a 'head's up' that we are trying something new here at Shaw.
We are looking for a new anchor/face of Shaw TV - Channel 10 and we are holding public auditions next Wednesday night.
That's correct- you, or anyone you know, regardless of what training you/they have or don't have- are welcome to stop by the Shaw studios next Wednesday night between 5:30pm and 8pm for an audition.
You will be asked to read a short paragraph off of a teleprompter and then answer a few questions about yourself.
This is serious- if you think you have a decent voice/read and are interested in television and community events - PLEASE STOP BY AND AUDITION
PLEASE PASS THIS ON TO ANYONE YOU THINK MAY BE INTERESTED AS WELL.
