A/N: This was originally written back in 2009 and I tweaked it a little bit.

The silent room was still, dark, and cold. Your warm body curled up under the covers resting peacefully. I lie beside you watching your composed face in a deep sleep.

You adjust your position and I hold my breath not wanting to bring you out of your slumber. Golden strands fall, covering your gorgeous features and I can't help but push them away. I need to see your face because it's the only thing that puts me at ease. As I tuck your hair behind your ear, I watch you subconsciously nuzzle against my hand. I bite down on my bottom lip, fighting every urge to kiss you at this moment. I watch your face closely, anticipating your next movement.

Your lips part slightly and I can hear you whisper my name. My chest tightened and my heart began to pound rapidly, just as it always did when you said my name. No one ever calls me by my real name except you. And, oh, how it makes me love you even more. If you only knew how much I've fallen for you, as hard as I have... It even scares me at times, but I have not one regret. None.

I place my hand upon your warm face and I swear I could hear you sigh softly. I gently lay my head back on my pillow just beside yours. With your eyes still shut, I watch as you place your hand on my own. I held my breath again. I’m beginning to notice I do that a lot when I'm around you. I would give something as my own breath for you.

Your eyes finally flutter open and instantly a serene smile grew on your face. That particular smile I knew so well, because you've never shared that smile with anyone expect me. When you smile it’s not just a physical smile painted on those rose colored, plush lips. When I look in your eyes I can see your soul light up, smiling inside and out.
