It had been a week after Reno stopped calling and leaving Shin text messages. Lucky for Shin they worked at opposite ends of town, so there was rarely a chance either of them bumped into each other. It wasn't that Shin was still upset about the night they slept together, but more embarrassed than anything. Not only did he explicitly expose himself by sleeping with his best friend, but he also reacted the complete opposite of what he anticipated. At this point he wouldn't know how to act, let alone, know what to say to the guy.

Shin had been walking towards his apartment from the train station, when suddenly his heart practically jumped out of his chest. His footsteps slowed drastically as he tried to get a look at this guy who was standing in front of his building. Shin watched as the guy turned around to lean back against the wall and checking their wrist watch. Clearly they were waiting for someone. As Shin drew closer, he was definitely certain that it was Reno standing outside his apartment. What was he doing here? Shin knew there was no use fighting the inevitable and so he proceeded onward.

Reno had been waiting for almost and hour and was thinking about just giving up and going when Shin finally arrived. The older male greeted Shin with a small smile but it had faltered when Shin didn't return the same expression. Shin practically avoided eye contact with him. Reno hoped the blond wasn't still mad about the other night. "What are you doing here?" Shin asked as he walked past to check his mailbox. There was nothing there and he kind of wished that there was so he at least looked occupied. "I haven't heard from you in a while. Nor have you returned any of my calls or messages," Reno stated. "I was worried." Shin made to attempt to explain himself. "Sorry," Shin said simply with a shrug and began walking upstairs to the second floor.

Reno watched in disbelief as Shin unlocked his front door. "Hey, I was willing to talk. You were the one who ran away," Reno said matter-of-factly as he followed behind. Just then, one of the tenants from the building excused their-self as they walked past. "This isn't the time or the place for this," Shin said. "Then let me in," Reno replied.

Shin clenched his hand on the doorknob, contemplating. Should he let Reno inside? What if something happens again? The blond bit his lip as he thought back on that night and how vulnerable he was and unable to control himself. Who was he kidding? "That was just a one time thing, remember," he mentally told himself. "You have ten minutes."

So, there they were in Shin's apartment. "You should think about tidying up the place," Reno teased. "Did you come here to talk or give me cleaning tips?" Shin snarly replied and wandered into the kitchen. "Relax, it was just a joke," the older male said as he took a seat on the couch. "What do you want to drink?" he asked. "I'm fine, thanks," Reno responded. Shin returned from the kitchen and sat across from Reno at his desk, waiting for him to break the awkward silence.

"First off, I'm sorry," Reno started. Shin half shrugged as he stared at a spot on the floor. "What I said, and what we did... It wasn't fair to you," the brunette said. After that night, Reno couldn't stop thinking about Shin. He was worried he screwed things up between them, and when Shin started avoiding him it made him worry. "I should of stopped myself, but I couldn't," Reno admitted.

At those words, Shin's heart began accelerating. "What do you mean?" he inquired. Does that mean Reno really wanted to sleep with him or was he just horny from not getting some? The brunet bit his lip to keep from laughing. It was a nervous habit he always had. "Oh, come on. Stop pretending like you don't know," Reno said seriously. "I don't know!" Shin exclaimed. "We wouldn't be here if things were clear from the beginning," he said slouching his shoulders in defeat. This was going nowhere and he didn't have the patience to be made a fool of.

"I think you should leave."

Reno simply sighed and stood up from the couch. Shin was still inadvertently staring at the floor, too oblivious to realize what was happening. In a swift movement the brunet walked over to where Shin sat and raised the blond's chin so he could look him in the eyes. Shin could hear his own heartbeat throbbing as he stared at the elder. Reno leaned forward to whisper in his ear, "I like you, stupid."
