(no subject)
i've actually had those pictures on my camara since last saturday. but i'd been too lazy to upload them until like 3 in the morning yesterday, when i was bored and really not in the mood to sleep.
um... i have shoes! i totally spent all my money on them, but they were awesome. i also got myself some books. i don't know why i insist on buying books when i already have a huge pile of them to read, a pile i hardly ever get to because i have a boatload of reading for classes. at least i'll have them when i find some time.
also... i think i've found a new favorite author. joyce carol oates. i really want to read more stuff by her... we read "secret observations on the goat-girl" (which was pretty good... i still like it despite the toture i put myself through writing my paper on it) and "accursed inhabitants of the house of bly" (most awesome short story ever... i loved it, even though i strongly disliked the novel it was bsaed on).
i miss my library *tear*
yesterday i went research happy. so now i have a huge stack of books sitting on my tv that i have no will to look at. it's cool stuff though... vampires and ancient egypt and stereotypes regarding asian american women. november is not going to be a happy month though *dread*
