Psych. test & snake in a pool
So, I just got done my first exam for Into to Psychology....the most boring class I have ever had in my entire life. At first I couldn't believe how easy the questions were, but as I got into the test there were some things I had no idea about....doesn't help I found it almost impossible to study...and I never bought the book (tho she always said there won't be anything on a test she doesn't cover in class)...and I missed two classes, which I think a lot of the questions I was unsure about were covered in those classes...even though I got the notes I missed from her, she gave me a brief overview, and told me to look in the book, which I don't have. I know I got at least one wrong.....(I knew Watson developed behaviorism, not Wundt, man I sat there for 2 minutes debating which one to choose), but I also know I got an extra credit question right. We'll see how I did in a few days..... Guess I'll try harder to get up at 5:30 every Monday, Wednesday and Friday to make my boring-ass psych class.
I don't understand people lately. I am just completely at a loss. I try to understand people and see their reasons for doing things, even when it is not nice things, but I just don't understand people anymore. I am at a total loss. Why do people care about someone and Trust them completely, and then cut them out of their life>? I don't get it, it seems to happen a lot.
Also, the other day I was watching some show in Disney channel, and I kept it on because a girl was dressing up like a boy so she could hang out with their guy friends and prove to them that there is no biological difference between men and women, and they only act different around their girl friends because of their own expectations and stuff(deep stuff for disney, huh?)...so, anyways, towards the end of the show she was going to have to get into the pool, but she was dressed as a guy, and she couldn't put on boy pool clothes...so her friend came to bail her out....by bringing her pet snake and throwing him in the pool!!!!! (to scare everyone out)
I was like, WTF>?!? I am pretty sure chlorine would kill a snake. I KNOW they kill Frogs. I'll have to look it up, but it bothered me a lot. It was an orange corn snake, I think (this pic is kinda what it looked like, but it's strips were more perfect...like Amanda's snake, Beetlejuice.)...anyways....I'm sure they used a plastic snake or something for the show, but still, how many kids are gonna watch it, then go throw a snake in a pool>?
