I love the term "Zivafied" and how tender the Tony in this piece is. I really enjoyed how quiet and reflective they both are, it's not really something we see them do on the show but I really feel like this ep warranted something like this. The scene really builds on what we'd been seeing from Tony in that time too where he's able to get outside of his own head and really consider other people, it's totally believable for this Tony to care so much and so openly (at least to himself) about her. I think you really nailed him on the throwaway lines on the movie commentary I could HEAR them. I love the idea of them watching Zombieland together *L* Great details too with the freebie christmas present from his dad and the way he froze up after asking Ziva if she was staying. And of course I got the warm fuzzies from how close they are and how at ease they can be and seeing them cherish each other because yeah it's mostly Tony but you showed us it with Ziva too sharing her blanket and turning on the fireplace too! Lovely fic! :)

Thank you so much! They've both been through a lot in 9x12 and 13, Tony with EJ and Ziva with Ray, that I thought they needed some down time together. I'd like to think this is the sort of thing they used to do back between seasons 3 and 4 when they were supposedly spending time together outside of work.

I try really hard to get my characterizations right so I am thrilled to hear that you could 'hear' him. And 'Zivafied' just seemed like a term Tony would make up.

This is just... sweet. It made me smile and go "awww" and it ached in just the right way, because I was right in Tony's head, being affected by her scars just the same. I love how... easy this feels. Thank you. ♥
