A Quiz!
Stolen from thesmallhobbit, because I too have the day off and am slightly bored :)
1. What time did you get up this morning? Well, as I said, day off, so I got up at around 8
2. How do you like your steak? Medium Rare
3. What was the last film you saw at the cinema? Mad Max: Fury Road last weekend. And it was FANATASTIC!
4. What is your favourite TV show? I have a few, actually. I suppose the most accurate answer would be Sherlock, of course, but I'm also a fan of Hannibal, and Game of Thrones, of the ones that are still running.
5. If you could live anywhere in the world where would it be? London. London London London. LONDON.
6. What did you have for breakfast? Waffles with peanut butter and sausages
7. What is your favourite cuisine? Hmm. I'm best at making Italian (being Italian myself), but I also enjoy Pakastani food as well as Thai and classic British food.
8. What foods do you dislike? Kimchi, saurkraut, generally anything fermented. Not a fan.
9. Favourite Place to Eat? Um, wow. I suppose Kuma's, but there are so many great places in Chicago that I can't even begin to choose.
10. Favourite dressing? As in salad dressing? Balsamic vinaigrette I suppose.
11. What kind of vehicle do you drive? Jeep Liberty
12. What are your favourite clothes? Jeans on my off days, sun dresses for work when it's warm enough.
13. Where would you visit, this weekend, if you had the chance? Just a weekend trip? I'd probably head up to Door County, Wisconsin if I could.
14. Cup 1/2 empty or 1/2 full? Complicated. Usually half full
15. Where would you want to retire? Probably Door County, but the winters there are brutal. My husband would say Gatlinburg, TN
16. Favourite time of day? Bedtime. I get to snuggle in my pjs and read with my husband.

18. What is your favourite sport to watch? Hockey or rugby
19. How many siblings? Zero
20. Favorite pastime/hobby? Ha. Probably reading fanfiction, or writing it when my drive is working.
21. Who are you most curious about their responses to this? Nobody reads my blog, so I doubt anyone will :)
22. Bird watcher? Nope
23. Are you a morning person or a night person? Definitely not a morning person, but with my current schedule, I'm kind of accidentally turning into one.
24. Do you have any pets? Yes! We have a pit bull named Ashes and a hedgehog named Watson
25. Any new and exciting news you'd like to share? Erm, Emmaline Elizabeth Taylor is due July 29th? I figure everyone knows that by now.
26. What did you want to be when you were little? A vet, but then I found out I'd have to put animals down
27. What is your best childhood memory? Oh jeez, I don't know. Too many to count, thankfully!
28. Are you a cat or dog person? dogs all the way

30. Always wear your seat belt? Yes
31. Been in a car accident? Unfortunately yes. I totalled my second car because my breaks gave out on Lake Shore Drive in the first sleet of winter in 2006, and then banged myself up pretty badly on I-55 in a god-awful snowstorm last January. Tell me again why I live in the midwest?
32. Any pet peeves? When people clap between movements at classical concerts
33. Favourite Pizza Toppings? PINEAPPLE. Just pineapple. Keep the canadian bacon to breakfast, please.

35. Favourite ice cream? Butter pecan, generally, but I adore the cinnamon ice cream from Oberweis Dairy when it's in season

38. From whom did you get your last email? Yet another work email from the IT help desk. I get about 20-30 of them a day. Super annoying.

41. Like your job? Sigh. What a complicated question. The short answer is yes, I enjoy my actual job, but I hate the place I'm currently working.
