before i forget, happy/merry instert-prefered-holiday-here to all of you. (gotta love being politically correct!)
friday went fine, the readers thearter went off without a hitch. i just handed out hershey kisses and peppermints to everyone. i gave mrs. dorwart a big bag of chocolate, which she liked, and to my dear bryanna (spelled it right!) i gave her the 30th eddition of alladin sane to make up for what i had lost. she gave me a sally doll, a two foamy buttons, a button that says "velvet goldmine: obi wan kanobi has anal sex with batman. it's the best movie ever." and the bowie bible to go, of which i am now in charge. such resbonsibility, what's a glitter child to do?
on saturday i got up early and went over to khol's. sarah was going to see king kong with me, and i didn't have a gift for her. so i got her a bath and body set, sped home, wrapped it and ran out the door. king kong was ok. it was long at points, and the bugs were disgusting. i liked the part on the ice. the ending was way to long, he dies, just get it over with! after the movie, my family went out to dinner, then drove down to dc to see the lights. we saw trees decorated with ornements from every state, and then a bunch of train sets going around one really tall tree covered in lights. by the time we were done, alison was almost falling asleep, so we just went home.
today, we slept in. it was really nice to wake up and go downstairs and not have to rip open presents in five minutes then rush out the door to a forced family gathering. after breakfast, i drove dad and jenny to pikesville to drop off a present for izze, a girl we baby sit at the hewbrew school. we got lost along the way, but it wasen't my fault! poor izze, she looked so scared like we were going to take her from her mother. tonight we lit the candels for the first night of chanuka, fried up latkies and opened presents. dad got an ipod nano, mom got some shirts, jenny got an ihome, and alison got a nitendo ds and nitendogs. she screamed atleast 20 times. she and "zoey" are getting along quite well, actually. i got a beading loom and a beading kit. i spent about an hour just threading the thing! it's nice to sit there with my ipod and work, though. i'm making a checkerd bracelet, and soon i'll be able to make letters! i'm thinking "bitch please" would look good in pink! (man, almost made it through a whole post without cussing! so close, and yet so far!)
