Here is my response to a few things that I've heard from McCain/Palin supporters over the last week. Where I have quotes, I am paraphrasing:
1. "Everyone is talking about how smart Obama is. You know, the terrorists who attacked us were really smart, too." So because some bad people are smart it negates the value of having smart leaders? Illogical.
2. They started out doing their usual complaining about Obama. They then started complaining about jobs being shipped overseas. This was a mistake made by previous administrations. Obama is against this policy and will work to repeal it. And these people are still insisting that Obama is going to tax them to death. Keep in mind, these are not wealthy people. Delusional.
3. They don't like the fact that Obama spent his campaign money to relate his plans to the masses by means of his half hour commercial. What's wrong with that? People donated money to his campaign to help him do such things. Did it help the McCain campaign to get their message out to the masses by spending so much money on wardrobe? Hypocritical.
