Venting- Lawyers dont' know Car Racing or Money!!!!

So my brother's lawyer finally seems to be doing something with his case. For those that have forgotten since its been so long- my brother was on a cruise ship climbing wall and when he reached the top he turned around and told the pully rigging guy that he was coming down...obviously the guy wasn't paying attention and he dropped my brother like 3

My brother had actually already been through a similar issue with lawyers and the courtroom...he was shot by a kid he knew when he was 14 years old. In any case, we had already been through this type of court case thing, along with evaluation of his "life's worth", accessment of finances, diasability- etc. And thats why I know these lawyers are lagging cause the ones he had 13 years ago did all of this for him- and the ones we have now dont seem to be doing much of anything.

I mean I know it takes time, especially with the court system all screwed up down there with the hurricanes and lack of electricity and stuff....but I really think they could be doing more. He is due to go take trip down there for some further evaluation, and answering some questions for the opposition...and I'm planning to go with and put my foot in their ass. Even if I have to sit there with a phone book looking up accountants and racing specialist for them to hire for this case.

I think its too late to fire them and have to deal with a whole new legal team, plus because of the statute(SP?) of limitations and the paperwork they have had to file I think my brother can get into probelms because its been so long. I dont want the case outright dismissed just cause something wasn't filed in time. At least these guys are on the hook for that.
