Dear President Bush,

Instead of using my tax dollars to help pay disgustingly large salaries to greedy Wall Street bastards who really don't need any more money than they already have, why don't you use my tax dollars to fund healthcare for my less fortunate fellow citizens who cannot afford healthcare on their own? Exactly my point. You have these guys making 50 million dollars a year, when I'll probably never hit 50 thousand. It's obscene. It's immoral, far as I'm concerned.

Last night on TV I saw the story of a man who was losing his foot to gangrene. His doctor told him that he could probably save it. The man, however, opted to just have his foot removed completely, because he was going to be laid off from his job soon, and would no longer have health insurance. He decided it would be best to just remove it while he has insurance, rather than try to save it, and risk having more complications later on when he had no coverage.

I ask you, what does it say about us as a People that we put some people in this sort of position, then give millions of dollars a year to professional athletes and corporate CEO's? It makes me sick, quite honestly. (And I won't even get into the war and all that goes with that catastrophe...)

Anyway, I certainly don't know the answers; bog knows I'm not exactly well versed on national and global economic matters. But I DO know that things as they are now, are just not right.
