sometimes as i'm about to fall asleep, i get the urge to write...not just in my journal. either verses to a future song or the introduction to a chapter in my future novel. do you ever get that desire? the problem is that whenever i begin a project, it always peters out. i'm no good at those kinds of commitments. not right now at least. maybe after i move to Turkey.
for better or for worse, i'm smitten. certain movies and songs remind me of my amazing week in Istanbul. it almost hurts to watch or listen to them as they remind me of what i had then and don't have now.
i can't concentrate on my GREs.
