#16 Questioning
"Why is the sky blue?" you asked with a curious look, your head tilted towards the sky. I smiled but i didn't reply.
"Nehh Yabu, why is the world round?" you continued asking. I looked towards the sky and continued ignoring your questions.
"Nehh Yabu, why do you love me so much?" you asked leaning closer to me. This time, i looked at you.
"Cause your name is Hikaru."
#17 Blood
Yuto tighten his pace as he took a glance at his watch. 6.25. He was suppose to be at Keito's house at 6.30. His cute boyfriend had promised to cook him a splendid dinner and he couldn't wait.
"Curry?? Hmm maybe gyoza?? What about mango pudding for dessert?" Yuto thought to himself as he reached Keito's gate. Fishing out Keito's key from his bag (why do we even bother why Yuto has Keito's house key^^ ) he pushed the gate open and slowly walked towards the house, inviting himself in. He took a deep breathe, waiting for the fragrance of curry or something familiar.
"Hmm…nothing?" Yuto wondered as he walked towards the kitchen.
"UWAHHH KEITOO WHAT HAPPENED!!" Yuto panicked when he saw a chopping knife in Keito's right hand, RED chopped carrots which he later realized it was blood and blood dripping from Keito's index finger.
"Ah, its nothing really…really…" Keito waved his left hand when he saw Yuto staring at it, causing the blood to flow out more and drip on the floor. Yuto ran towards him and took the knife from his hand before leading him to the toilet where he helped applied first aid on Keito's wound.
#18 Rainbow
He stared at the photograph in his hand, slowly moving his finger over the rainbow in the backdrop of the picture, smiling at the two person in the foreground.
"Here, i developed this for you." Takaki pushed the picture into Chinen's hand.
"How did you…" Chinen stared at the picture as he slowly sat down by the side of Takaki's bed.
"Remember, at the end of the rainbow, you will find not a pot of gold but me, Takaki Yuya." Takaki said. Chinen smack Takaki's head softly and stood up, waving goodbye to Takaki as the nurse came in to give Takaki his daily check.
#19 Grey
Dark clouds started appearing as soon as Yamada took a step out from the school gate. Cursing himself for not bringing an umbrella to school, he hasten his pace and walked towards the subway station. Fortunately for him, he made it there before it started raining. Unfortunately for him, he had to squeeze with the rest of the working adults since it was afterwork hour. Sighing, he pushed himself into the train. He groaned as more people pushed to make their way into the train, sighing at his lousy day. He forgot to bring his maths textbook, and then his lunch money, then…. Yamada stepped out of the train station to be greeted by a thunderstorm. and yeap, he then forgot his umbrella and now…he has to run home in the rain.
He took a deep breath before running out in the rain, trying not to rub the rain out of his eyes in case his contacts fell out when he felt an umbrella over his head.
"Daiki…?" Yamada blinked when he saw who was holding the umbrella.
"I'll make you happy, when skies are grey" Daiki said with a smile, passing Yamada a jacket.
#20 Fortitude
"I was always afraid that once i closed my eyes and drift off to sleep, i'll never get to see your beautiful face again. I was always afraid that once i closed my eyes, my heart will decide to stop beating. Once i become memory, i'll live you in tears. My icy body will never be able to hug you once more. And the thoughts of that make me hate myself. Im sorry i'll never get to fulfill the promise of celebrating our 21st, our 30th, our 40th and 50th birthday together. Im sorry i'll never get to grow old with you, to laugh at each other's white hair, to sit by the beach and stare at the sky till the sunsets. I'll never be able to open the door and be greeted by the familiar scent of your dinner. But thank you, for never once did my fortitude waver during my long battle with cancer. Thank You Chinen Yuri, for loving me till the end, and never forgetting my name, Yamada Ryosuke."
